Norwalk Clinic update

ADVANCED HEALTH Rehabilitation is pleased to announce the promotion of Christine Pleasnick, DPT, OCS, COMT as the manager of its Norwalk office. The office is located at 1 Willard Ave Suite B, Norwalk, OH and offers a wide range of physical therapy services.

Christine has 17 years of experience and has been employed by ADVANCED HEALTH since January of 2003. She earned her Bachelor’s degree of Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University and her Doctoral degree from Chatham University of Pittsburgh. She has obtained her Certification of Orthopedic Manual Therapy through the Maitland Institute and she is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Christine has found that her advanced orthopedic credentials have helped facilitate efficient treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries including spinal, peripheral and hand disorders.

Your patients will receive one-on-one treatment and same day service from Christine at costs that are substantially less than our Norwalk competition. Our Norwalk office does not use Physical Therapy Aides; hence, your patients are assured the highest quality of care.

ADVANCED HEALTH Is Now Offering Speech Pathology Services

Dena Smith, M.A., CCC-SLP (Speech & Language Pathologist) was recruited by ADVANCED HEALTH Rehabilitation to manage our speech therapy division. Dena will be providing both outpatient and home health speech therapy services to serve both the pediatric and adult populations. Dena earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University and her Master’s degree from Ohio University. She has provided speech therapy services for patients from all age groups. Dena is a long-time resident of the Sandusky area and has special career interests in childhood literacy and adult stroke/cognition. Dena will provide one-on-one treatment to your patients at costs that are substantially less than our competition. ADVANCED HEALTH is GROWING!

Due to the overwhelming support we have received from our community over the past 15 years, we have out-grown our Sandusky clinic. In order to continue to provide the exceptional outpatient physical, occupational & speech services which you have been accustomed to, we will be relocating our Sandusky office to 2500 West Straub Rd Sandusky OH. Our new facility is easily accessible off of State Rt. 2 at the State Rt. 4 exit. Our relocation will occur in summer of 2009.

NEW MEDICAL FITNESS CENTER

ADVANCED HEALTH is pleased to announce that it has teamed up with Northern Ohio Medical Specialist (NOMS) to open a medically integrated fitness/wellness center. The Northern Ohio Medical Fitness Center is a joint venture between NOMS & ADVANCED HEALTH. The 15,000+ sq ft fitness/wellness center is a will be located in the same building as our therapy clinic. It is scheduled to open summer of 2009.


It is important to us that our patients and our physician friends understand that ADVANCED HEALTH will continue to be owned, operated and governed 100% by local, licensed physical therapists. Likewise, it is important to us that you understand that this relocation will not result in higher costs to our patients. The cost of our therapy services will remain up to 60% less than our competition. Our new 7,000 square foot therapy center will offer many advantages to you and your patients including easy access off of State Rt. 2, expanded parking, therapeutic pool, indoor track, state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment and state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment. Of course, the same caring staff will provide you with the quality care you’ve come to expect. Our Castalia & Norwalk clinics will not be affected by this move.
