WHAT IS NEW?
Sports Enhancement Training
ADVANCED HEALTH is pleased to announce it is now offering an Athletic and Recreational Sports Performance Enhancement Training Program. This service is offered though our medically oriented fitness center at NOMFC.
WHAT IS IT?
The program consists of a 60-120 minute session, designed to improve movement efficiency, mobility, flexibility, speed, power & strength. This program is for the Jr High & High School Athletic, College Athlete, Recreational Athlete and Adult & Senior Fitness Enthusiasts.
This is an evidenced based, scientifically structured program. Client assessments include mobility, stability, and pre and post performance testing. Self- soft tissue and joint mobilization instruction are given along with static, dynamic, and neuromuscular stretching techniques. We teach our clients on how to:
- Perform dynamic warm-up and Cool-down techniques.
- Develop reactive and explosive power through the use of plyometrics and explosive lifts.
- We also instruct clients in creative demanding energy system development (conditioning).
- Provide nutritional advice for optimal recovery and regeneration leading to a healthier lifestyle.
- Long term success for the client is our goal!
Adult Fitness and Senior Fitness Overview
Clients will perform a 60 minute version of the performance class designed to improve fitness levels for adults and seniors through the use customized, individualized, functional exercise. There are separate adult and senior fitness (65+) programs with a strong emphasis on injury prevention and proper training methods for this population.
